I was a newspaper photographer for a few years in the 1990s. I’ve always preferred pictures of people.
Around 2010 I started traveling more for work, often to interesting places, and I brought my camera with me. Moving to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2014 got me back in the habit of carrying a camera all the time.
